I gained my influential leadership confidence by:

1. Sitting at tables with the CDC, EPA, and FDA to move forward public health programs. 

2. Working with the MLB and NFL on skin cancer awareness and prevention campaigns.

3. Serving as the Co-Chair for the National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention.

4. Leading the efforts to set a Guinness World Record for the most skin cancer screenings performed in a single day.

5. Serving as the Executive Director for a family business foundation.

6. Executive producing and program writing for an annual gala in Midtown Manhattan with 300+ physicians, industry leaders, pharmaceutical executives, and celebrity presenters.

7. Being published in several medical journals.

8. Serving as a contributor to the CDC's Shade Planning for America's Schools.

9. Coordinating the creation of guidelines for dermatologist and first responders on the appropriate protocols with anthrax and other deadly bioterrorism agents after 9/11. Through a grant which I managed from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, helped drive access to these guidelines for other medical specialties.

10. Being named Hypnotherapist of the Year 2023, awarded from the Michigan Hypnotherapy Guild AND Hypnotist of the Year 2022, awarded from the Mid-America Hypnosis Convention.

11. Becoming the author of four published books.

12. Performing in two stand-up comedy shows.

13. Serving as the President of the Board of Directors for the Rotary Botanical Gardens.

14. For nearly three years teaching weekly mindfulness and meditation classes at a 50+ person in-treatment addiction and recovery center.

15. Being a professional speaker with a signature talk titled, "Clean Up in Aisle 7: How effective leaders recognize and resolve workplace conflict to get the work done rather than cleaning up miscommunication and misunderstandings."

16. Certifying and teaching others in hypnosis.

17. Being a host of my Authority Activator^TM podcast.

18. Being the host of my Confidence with Connie AND Side Hustle to Successful Career YouTube channel.
