Download the e-book

Download your e-book titled, "RESET Yourself for Confidence and Fulfillment." You can read through this first to have a solid understanding of what you are about to do. It will also be a great guide to accompany each element of RESET.

Watch the video

Go through this process in order presented. RESET is an acronym and is put in the order of best execution. Each video provides a verbal high-level overview of each component, complements the information provided in the e-book, and gives instruction on how best to execute each worksheet.

Download the worksheet(s) and do the homework

There is a worksheet for each component of RESET. Be sure to have that in front of you while you watch the video. Take your time doing each worksheet to get the most value from the exercises.

Move on to the next letter

Once you have completed the video and homework for the first component, then move on to the next one. Take some time in between each component to reflect on the process.

A HIGH-LEVEL EXAMPLE OF HOW TO USE THE RESET METHOD WITH A SCENARIO THAT SOME CAN RELATE TO

SCENARIO:

You just lost your job that you loved and had for 15 years. You had great benefits and outstanding pay. This was unexpected and due to cut-backs. You are in a low-low.

R = REMIND YOURSELF WHERE YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU WANT TO BE:

You are crushed. You are upset. You are worried. You are very sad and nearing depression.

Honor your feelings. Sit with them for awhile to "feel them through," process your feelings, and using the worksheet associated with this module to determine how you want to use this experience to move yourself forward and rise again. Is this a time to consider early retirement? Maybe you can start your own business? Do you need to take a class or two to update your skills? Identify what good can come of this situation. Use that as your goal to move forward.

E = EDIT THE VOICE IN YOUR MIND

From feeling low and bad from what happened to you, use the worksheet associated with this module to ensure negative thoughts and beliefs do not fill your mind. Then, get into a practice of finding things regularly throughout your day to be thankful for because it changes your perspective and attracts more positive things to you. When you are in a low-low state, it is easy to beat yourself up with negative thoughts and beliefs. None of them are true. You want to eliminate these from your vocabulary and belief system so it is not what you attract or become.

S = STRUCTURE YOUR LIFE FOR SUCCESS

From what you determined from "R" above, choose what one thing you can focus on to make the biggest, most immediate impact in your life. Turn it into a goal and work towards reaching your dream. Once you reach that dream, move on to the next one. Rinse and repeat. Continually learn and grow.

E = ESTABLISH PERSONAL VALUES

To help solidify all that you have done to-date, establish personal values to support you and where you are headed. You will find that it is a nice platform from which to live your life. These personal values will give you confidence and strength to keep working towards your dreams.

T = TAKE TIME FOR YOU

First, you will need to take time for you to do all the above. Second, you will find that taking time for you makes your life richer and fuller. You and those around you see the benefits, so you will want to structure your life so you can continue to take time for you regularly.

R: Remind yourself where you are and where you want to be

Worksheet #1

A 7-question worksheet to guide you on determining where you are and where you want to be. This will guide you on figuring out how you feel about something and how you would rather feel. Once you have this information you can better determine how to use the experience to your advantage to catapult you to your next level.

E: Edit the voice in your head

Worksheet #2a

Learn to edit the voice in your head by "flipping the switch." This worksheet has you identify common negative thoughts so you can switch that to something positive. Over time, and with repetition, these new, positive thoughts will be what you feed your mind. Also, depending on the positive thoughts, they could become future goals (structure your life for success).

A template document to daily reflect on what you are thankful for. Doing this daily significantly improves your life by changing your outlook and perspective on life. Don't believe me? Please try it for yourself and see how your life changes.

S: Structure your life for success with good habits

Worksheet #3

A template SMART goal document to help you identify goals in your life and how best to reach them. Use this document over and over again and for "big" goals or "small" goals. It is important to write your goals down because that helps bring them to life.

A SMART goal is SPECIFIC (radar focused); MEASUREABLE (how do you know you are making progress); ATTAINABLE (realistic timeframe); RELEVANT (aligns with your values and higher self); TIME-BASED (has an end date so that you accomplish it and can move on).

E: Establish personal values

Worksheet #4

After you have done the exercise of identifying your personal values, this worksheet allows you to capture them and define them. Documenting your personal values and personally defining them make them true to you and better brings them to life.

T: Take time for you

Worksheet #5

This is a tracker, allowing you the opportunity to better identify where you are spending your time, what fills you up, and what you want to do less of moving forward. Writing this down and evaluating it will help you better determine your ideal self-care routine.
